Humanity is moving into something new. World experts and historians have asserted that we are rapidly moving into the most disruptive time in human history. Klaus Schwab from the World Economic Forum has called this the 'Fourth Industrial Revolution.' As with every new industrial era, humanity is offered an opportunity to solve our biggest issues with a new set of tools. We've been here before! We're only repeating history.
VR SOLUTIONS TO SUPPORT THE HOMELESS ISSUE
Virtual Reality for Main Street's mission is to ensure that our new set of tools is used for Good. Our mission is to create VR for Good community projects throughout the world.
'PROJECT ENDURING JOY'
Our first project will is to complete 'Project Enduring Joy.' This pioneering community project will demonstrate how local leaders can embrace our new tools to solve our biggest local issues. This project will focus on three main functions.
Join our VR for Good Tribe. Our international community meets every Monday from 12-1pm (Pacific USA). Check out our upcoming speakers.
Our international team of VR professionals will create dozens of VR Experiences. These immersive experiences will help train new employees, onboard volunteers, and create community awareness projects. These community projects will be supported by local Chambers of Commerce, city governments, businesses, and places of worship.
Our team will work with homeless professionals in creating a VR Homeless Curriculum. The objective is provide free world-class training for all homeless related employees and volunteers.
Our VR for Good Tribe will create a series of immersive fundraising campaigns to help fund early projects. We are committed to helping local leaders solve our problems with our new set of tools. Our goal is to raise $1,000,000 for local homeless organizations.
'Project Enduring Joy' will provide three safe VR Stations throughout San Diego to view our VR Experiences. First, we will teach homeless organizations to safely deliver these experiences to our unsheltered. Second, our team will create a VR Learning Station to help employees and volunteers effectively learn how to support our unsheltered. Third, this project will use VR Mobile Stations to teach San Diego residents about the homeless issue.
Our new immersive tool (VR) will be used to support our unsheltered to feel loved, connected, and empowered.
360 Community Experiences support our unsheltered by bringing on a VR Trip to a local place of worship, watch the local Fourth of July fireworks, hear encouraging messages from community (and spiritual) leaders, relax in nature, take a cooking class, or look to complete their GED (wouldn't that be great). We will use the information provided in Virtual Reality for Main Street.
A cornerstone of 'Project Enduring Joy' is to create dozens of VR Experiences to support our unsheltered in connecting with God. These immersive experiences will bring them on a VR Prayer trip to a local church, synagogue, or mountaintop. Our team will follow the steps presented in Virtual Reality for Prayers and Virtual Reality for Ministry.
'Project Enduring Joy' will work with educational leaders from around the world to provide our unsheltered with world-class immersive education.
